A short horror film about a young girl in an abusive household who's mental state is slowly deteriorated until she seeks revenge on her father and chooses to take her mother out of her misery
ABOUT
At the abuse of her father, Evelyn slowly begins to loose her grip of reality until she one day decides to take revenge by murdering him. After seeing how his abuse has corroded the spirit of her mother, she reasons that the most loving and merciful thing she could do, is poison her mother in her sleep, to put her down peacefully, to take her out of her misery.

Puppenhaus, (or "Doll House" in english) is a short horror production that I created with my team mates Julienne Shütz and Maria Pineda Meneses in 2019. The goal was to portray the frightening psychological repercussions of abuse in a way that is artistic.

BEHIND THE SCENES AND PRACTICAL EFFECTS
BLOOD BATH
The scene in which Evelyn sits in her bath tub in a white dress cleaning blood off of herself; was achieved by saturating the bath water with pomegranate tea bags, tomato sauce, and any of the fake blood that was already on the dress and hands already. Maria and I both stood atop the bathtub with several different kinds of torches and cameras to capture the shot.
